18 ANSWERS
What is Inventory Care?
Inventory Care · $49/month is available after declining the Partnership offer. It covers defined inventory upkeep and an annual refresh; it is not a fee to retrieve your delivered record or correct a mistake. Hosted-access arrangements are stated in your quote or agreement.
Can I still access my existing app account?
Yes. Use App sign in or Family portal in the footer. The existing self-serve app policy retains a 14-day trial, after which delivered records remain viewable and exportable. Service project hosting dates are agreed separately.
Where does HomeHand work?
We serve Lake Oswego, West Linn, and Stafford, Oregon. Tell us the general location of your home and we’ll confirm whether we can help.
Can I hire HomeHand for just one project?
Yes. A single organizing or downsizing project is a good place to begin. You do not need to subscribe or join a partnership.
What happens after I get in touch?
Adam talks through the home, the priorities, and the kind of help you need. We agree the next step, availability, scope, and price before any work begins. Sending an inquiry does not confirm a booking.
Can I start with ongoing help directly?
Yes. A paid onboarding assessment is the starting route for households seeking recurring help without an organizing project first. We discuss and quote that assessment before arranging it.
What does an organizing project include?
An agreed physical space organized around your needs, a searchable inventory of the agreed belongings with photos and locations, and a close-out letter and action record with a handover. Your quote defines the details.
Explore the serviceWho decides what leaves the house?
You do, or a person you have authorized. We agree decision-making authority before work begins. Belongings that need a decision are set aside; we do not independently decide to discard them.
Do I need a subscription to keep my inventory?
No. You keep the inventory and its export without a subscription. The included period of hosted online access is defined in your project quote; ongoing hosted access is not promised indefinitely.
How much do partnerships cost?
Partner is $249 per month with a monthly visit and hourly coordination. Preferred is $549 with visits every two weeks. Private is $1,099 with weekly visits. Principal starts at $1,995 with weekly visits and household management by consultation. Included time and responsibilities are defined in your agreement.
Explore the serviceIs every repair or task included?
No. Each agreement sets included time, responsibilities, coordination, and response commitments. Additional projects are quoted separately. Specialist work is handled by the appropriate vendors within the agreed arrangements.
Does HomeHand mark up contractor bills?
No. Contractor bills are passed through at cost, without a HomeHand markup. HomeHand’s own coordination fees or included coordination are defined separately in your agreement.
What are the response times, cancellation rules, and backup arrangements?
These are defined in your individual agreement, including business hours, response commitments, cancellation or pause terms, and a named backup arrangement. We go through them before you commit.
How much does a Home Watch visit cost?
A visit is $125, or $95 for partnership households. We agree the scope, schedule, access, and approval arrangements before the first visit.
Explore the serviceIs Home Watch an emergency or security service?
No. It is a documented visit with observations, photographs, and a written update. It is not a security guarantee, an emergency response service, or a comprehensive home inspection.
Can I arrange help for a parent or another family member?
Yes. The homeowner’s welcome and priorities come first. Together we agree who receives updates, who can approve work, and who can make decisions about belongings.
Will my family need to learn an app?
Routine letters and family updates are sent directly and do not require a login. A searchable inventory is available for agreed belongings. Access is shared with the people you authorize.
Can HomeHand make purchases or authorize work for me?
Only within the authority agreed with you. Spending approvals and decision-making permissions are set in advance. A partnership is not open-ended permission to spend.
